  • Better Searching – Exchange performs instant searches, making the wealth of data stored in email messages readily available without using other tools. More advanced indexing makes searches
  • Better Mobile Messaging – Microsoft Direct Push can synchronize email to Windows Mobile or compatible devices. This makes it possible to search your mailbox from a handheld. Improved security allows users to also ‘wipe’ their handhelds from afar if they are lost or stolen.
  • Unified messaging - With unified messaging, employees can now receive email, voicemail and faxes through one inbox.
  • Better Security – Exchange 2007 provides antivirus, anti-spam and anti-phishing programs to eliminate threats before they impact your business. Servers are shielded from threats by multiple antivirus engines and filters kept up to date with continuous, automatic updates. Anti-spam has a two-tiered administrator and end user quarantine which provides better overall spam filter management.
  • Better Web Access – Outlook Web Access 2007 makes all email contacts and calendars available worldwide. The latest OWA client is almost identical to the Outlook 2003 client interface, having similar features and views and superb performance. Thin-client deployment is now a real option, and OWA traffic is auto-encrypted with Secure Sockets Layer.
  • WebReady Document Viewing - A new option in OWA allows Microsoft Office documents accessed as e-mail attachments or through public folders to be displayed as HTML, even if Office isn’t installed on the client PC.
  • Better Performance – Exchange 2007 is designed to run on high performance 64-bit hardware, which enhances processing power and hastens email delivery. New clustering technology allows email data to be copied to a passive server in real time bringing higher reliability and uptime.
  • Smart scheduling – The Scheduling Assistant and Calendar Attendant programs in Exchange help you keep track of the schedules of all meeting invitees as well as the availability of meeting rooms.
