Hosted Exchange Migration
If you are currently using a POP3 email provider, or are dissatisfied by your current hosted Exchange provider, Moyo Group can help you select and migrate to a new hosted Exchange provider. Our years of experience with major hosted email providers gives us the ability to recommend those which best fit your needs. We can also help you understand how Microsoft Exchange communications technology can add value to your business. Migrating a company’s email system to a hosted provider must be managed carefully in order to minimize cost, downtime, loss of productivity and user frustration. Moyo Group is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner with deep expertise in completing email migration projects with minimal disruption.
Our Approach
Because email is so vital to modern businesses, yet is accessed by users in so many different ways, we take great measures to make the migration process smooth and organized. Our years of experience with these projects have led to the creation of a detailed project plan which sidesteps common pitfalls.
We ensure that the new hosting site is properly configured and tested prior to the conversion date. We brief employees in advance and remain in regular contact throughout the process to address their concerns and problems, including an on-site triage center on the conversion date. Our experience working with email vendors allows us to resolve issues efficiently. Users will have access to email through Outlook web access (OWA) until their Outlook client is reconfigured. Blackberry, iPhone and other PDA devices are also configured and tested.
Process and Timeline
A well-run migration takes 4 to 6 weeks to complete. This permits us to gain a detailed understanding of the current set up, review potential improvements, and ensure the migration process is successful. It is best to complete the migration process at one time to ensure all users have transitioned smoothly.
Cost
Cost parameters are based on the number of users, number of remote users, number of different email clients and the amount of project and vendor management required.
