InSound Medical, Inc. is a venture backed company creating and manufacturing next-generation hearing solutions. Their miniature, deeply inserted hearing device will soon provide America’s 31 million hearing-impaired people with a continuous-wear solution to their hearing problem. It is the only FDA-approved extended-wear hearing solution.
Challenge
InSound Medical was completing its R&D stage and beginning to grow in preparation for launching its products. Executives Susan Whichard and Mike Lopez knew they had to upgrade their IT infrastructure in preparation for growth and get resources in place to support it. They knew they faced a challenging period of building the business and manufacturing staff while finalizing product design. They needed to focus on their business, not worry about IT.
